Cindy Eastman is an award-winning author whose first book, a collection of essays entitled Flip-Flops After 50: And Other Thoughts On Aging I Remembered To Write Down was published by She Writes Press in April 2014. She has taught writing classes to students between the ages of 5 and 85 and is the creator of the “Day of Her Own” women’s writing retreat held in Watertown, Conn. She has presented nationally at the Story Circle Network 8thWomen's Writing Conference in Austin, Texas and is a contributor to Laugh Out Loud: 40 Women Humorists Celebrate Then and Now…Before We Forget a collection of essays published in association with the University of Dayton’s Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop.
