AARP FWN CT Peer Educator
Pat and her husband Rich are residents of Seymour, CT for the past 32 years, and are the proud parents of two Eagle Scout sons, both of their sons are married and together they have four grandchildren.
Pat worked for The Hartford Insurance Company for 28 years in the Commercial Lines Underwriting Department, during her tenure she became licensed by the State of Connecticut Insurance Department as a Producer for Property, Casualty, Credit and Travel.
While her sons were young Pat took on the roll as an assistant den leader for the Cub Scouts, and as boys grew and moved on to the Boy Scouts she served as a committee member for Boy Scout Troop 65, Seymour/Oxford.
After retiring from The Hartford Pat, along with Rich, Pat joined AARP Connecticut as Advocacy Volunteer, and since 2014 they have traveled as a team of peer to peer counselors doing presentation of “The Con Artist Playbook” for the AARP's Fraud Watch Network.
She has also advocated for the passage of the CARE ACT, as well as a serving as an ambassador for a host of other community outreach projects.
