Sometimes Managing School Assignments in Lockdown Causes Stress

This article in the Examiner by Gillian Flaccus and Jocelyn Gecker popped up on my feed. There are sentiments in here that I have heard mirrored by other parents. The abrupt transition to homeschooling is having an impact on children, parents and teachers alike. Some are having an easier time than others but the process and experiment it feels like we are in sometimes will get better, but it can’t replace the school environment.

What’s alarming in this is the fear among lower income families about how their children may fall behind without the structure of the school environment.
